The 134th Millennium Millionaire draw was conducted by Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman of Dubai Duty Free together with other Dubai Duty Free officials in Concourse C, Dubai International Airport.
The winning ticket no. 3610 belonged to Mr. Musleh Mosaa Hassan, a Lebanese national living in Dubai who was left speechless when he heard the news of his one million dollar win this morning.
Speaking to Dubai Duty Free by phone the dollar millionaire said: “Needless to say how thrilled I am to win US$1 million. I’ve been waiting for years for this moment and should say that my prize was well worth the wait! ” Mr. Hassan who works for a Dubai-based Oman Insurance company intends to invest his entire win.
The Finest Surprise draw was held directly after the Millennium Millionaire announcing Mr. Werner Stapelkamp, a German national the winner of a silver Mercedes Benz S500 in Series 1506 with ticket no. 245. Mr. Stapelkamp is not available for comments but will be understandably surprised when he learns of his win.
Another winner who will be equally delighted with the prize is Mr. Stephen B. Slashinski, an American national from Riverton, New Jersey. Mr. Slashinski won a Ducati Streetfighter 848 (Fighter Yellow) in Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion with ticket no.301 in Series no. 202.
The winning ticket numbers were drawn by Dubai Duty Free senior officials namely Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman, Ramesh Cidambi, Senior Vice President – IT & Logistics, Sinead El Sibai, Vice President – Marketing, and Nic Bruwer, Vice President – Human Resources.<< Back
